College football’s National Signing Day was as much
about the player the Gators didn’t land as the dozens it did. Jaden
Rashada once again seized center stage as Billy Napier, Florida’s
frustrated coach, publicly addressed for the first time the
high-profile mess surrounding the California high schooler’s
recruitment and a failed NIL deal. This might be the end of the
drama involving Rashada, who plans to sign with Arizona State.
Problems with NIL, though, are sure to continue until the system
changes. Meanwhile, Todd Golden had a night to remember and
potentially a program-building win against No. 2 Tennessee. Mark
and Edgar break it all down during the latest Swamp
Things.
