New starting quarterback Graham Mertz spoke for the first time since the spring game and a few days after Billy Napier named him starting quarterback. Mertz said all the right things. The question is whether he can make all the right moves for the Gators. Former UF QB Anthony Richardson has made enough of them to earn the starting job with the Indianapolis Colts. It’s a testament to Richardson’s talent and potential, but this will be a baptism by fire. Back in Gainesville, Mark and Edgar are fired up during the latest Swamp Things as the Gators wrap up fall camp and the season opener at Utah is two weeks away.
